  Shocked to say the least. I was in the Langney store just recently, browsing through the womens section when i over heard Two female employees talking about recent job vacancies. I was with my partner at the time and we were both shocked to hear this in this day and age. 1st employee " i think it would be nice to have more males around if u know what i mean" 2nd employee " (giggles) well u have the power so its in your hands". (BOTH GIGGLE). My partner and i were shocked at the discrimination coming out of the young womens mouths. I then later brought an item at the till and asked the assistant who the women were at the front of the shop and was told that it was the MANAGER AND A SUPERVISOR. Now as female if i had heard of job vacancies at Peacocks i would have loved to of had a chance and apply for a job as i love the shop itself and love retail. On hearing this god knows WHAT or WHO they talk about in the "office", but if my partner and i heard this and felt shocked at these young women i feel for the staff who work there at the moment and how they are being treated/talked about, openly to. Theses are young women who have been giving a position to Manage and Supervise the Shop, Staff and The Customers are in my eyes exploiting their positions and mistaking it as POWER. Theses women should be trying to shape the young employees work future with Confidence, training and work ethic. No matter their GENDER or Race.
